Fireman Halloween Costumes for Children

Fireman costumes are a great choice for Halloween, and while they work good for adults, they are adorable on children, as they love to put on their hats and be like one of their heroes.

That's one of the major necessities of a fireman costume, you must have a hat. A fireman without a hat, for a child, is like Superman without his cape. It just doesn't work.

The one exception, as you'll see below, is with a toddler, which in some cases hasn't developed the appreciation yet. But they look cute in anything. Yet, many of them, if you put a fireman hat on them, will definitely want to keep it on, unless you live in a very hot and humid climate, where it may make them uncomfortable.

I've put together a few photos of children wearing fireman outfits in order to let you see, and maybe them, if that's what they would like to wear this Halloween.

Maybe it could also be something they could wear if they are taken to a visit to the local fire station.

In this first photo, I wanted to show what a fireman's costume would look like without a hat, and also to give an idea of what the yellow tape I mentioned would look like if you were to put it over an existing coat or shirt.

This little guy in the fireman costume is why it is a great choice for Halloween. It also shows you can use a different color of tape and it will still look good; in this case the green.

As children get a little older, adding an accessory such as the hatchet below is a very nice touch. What child wouldn't want the cool hat and outfit, while carrying around the hatchet. Very cool!

While I'm not sure a child would want to carry around a fire extinguisher while he's going after his candy hoard on Halloween, it would definitely be a cool accessory and prop when he's at home showing off his goodies and his costume.

As you can see from these photos, using a fireman costume theme on Halloween is a great way to have fun for you children. Costumes like these make great photos and memories of those magical and exciting years we like to revisit from time to time.
